Nico it is just that, the older forum members had pin on badges with their name on, so that could be recognised at the meet ups. We had some stickers at one of the St Georges day meet ups , with an England cross for the man and a Dragon for the ladies!!!
Sue
Very apt. What do the rest wear then?

Oi Sue who you calling 'Older'? :friendly_wink:

I was thinking more along the lines of a pompom, like the knitted poodle bottle covers. I have an old GPMU badge but it's a bit small. Maybe I can borrow Jack Parnell's brooch. Remember the Generation Game when hosted by Larry Grayson? Saw Phil Spectre on George Harrison BBC 4 last night. He had a brooch.

Bernie, was trying to be PC lol!!! had lots of other ideas, but thought that was the most polite, was referring to length of membership, honest, but if the cap fits...............................................................
And I have the piece of cardboard for the badge making Nico lol
Sue

Has anyone taken up the badge making from our old mate mikeg? If he was still around you'd all have badges by now. Miss you Mike rip.

Hi Mike glad you are still with us. I had wanted a map with the house plots on for circa 1958-60 for Park Hill, Shera got me an electoral roll which helped. They keep changing the numbers. I wanted to see if a house was still there and what number was listed as next to the church. I am relying on someone else's memory as to where my family was living at the time. And it changes!
Best Wishes
Nico

It's been so long since we visited the old playground, I will have to rely on the old Sat-nav to get us there. Terrible state of affairs, but that's progress. See you all there.
