Beaumont - Nutting

Hello

My grandmother, Annie Madge Nutting (nee Beaumont b1891 d1928), pictured here was apparantly a model at some stage of her life and allegedly had her photograph put on some tins of chocolate or biscuits or something of the like. This all sounds rather spurious and may be apocryphal but I wonder if anyone can help? Long shot but.....!
Also, I have tried to locate her birth certificate but have drawn a blank online - any suggestions? I know from her marriage certificate that her father was a John Beaumont but that's it!

Thanks.
David

Wow Suzanne - pure gold! Thank you so much.

According to her marriage certificate and a note on the back of a photo from my grandad - she was Annie Madge but I guess Mabel it is for the purposes of research. You've also solved another mystery too - why I have a burial certificate for a John Lilley...I had absolutely no idea who he was!!
My Dad told me that my grandparents used to live at 31 Dawson Street, which belonged to Frederick Beaumont - Annie's brother - I guess! They were only there for about 7 years up until Annie Mabel/Madge's death in 1928 when they moved to 20 Sarah Street nearby - I think that must have been owned by George Hayes - you may recall my post about the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants....
Thank you once again - and yes, my grandmother looked lovely didn't she? Shame I never knew her and pity that my Dad was only 3 when she died - no wonder it was so difficult for him to tell me anything about her! I do wonder whether the "model" occupation was made up for the purpose of the children...but who knows what I might unearth!

So glad to help. In my haste I put 3 Dawson Street for the 1911 address but it is 31 as per the electoral roll info.

Hope you manage to answer your question about whether Annie did model:)
