Bath Row, Simon Bernelot Moens

New Member
My ancestor Simon Bernelot Moens, born in 1772 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, married Elizabeth Broad in Kenchester in1831.
I found his last will, written in 1849. At that time his address was 99 Bath Row. Can anyone help me to find images of Bath Row of those years? Of course I would be very happy with an image of the house where he lived. He left all his posessions including the house om Bath Row to his beloved wife Elizabeth.

Second question: He died on December 31, 1850 in Birmingham. Where was he buried? I assume it must have been in Birmingham. Which registers are suitable to search for details?

Hein Moens, Hengelo, The Netherlands.

to add to the above info we have a thread for bath row with old photos taken before demo but not taken in the 1840s too early for photos of that date i think..click on link below

The 'Trees Inn' was No. 100 so if you can find an image showing this you may see No.99 next door.

Aerial view (1935) showing No.99 (centre of image) to the right of the Trees Inn. Not good quality unfortunately as it was a small part of the original aerial photo.

In the 1880s numbering on Bath Row was consecutive, whereas now it is odd one side, even, the other. In 1849 no 99 was Mrs Elizabeth Moens Ladies boarding school. I will try and estimate where that was. It seems to be next to the Trees pub as Lyn says
