Baptism: St Martins. please January 1799

skylark

Proud to be a Brummie !!
I wonder if someone could look up the baptism for January 1799. THOMAS PEARCE BROUGH, son of William & Ann Brough. I do have a copy of this baptism BUT I am unsure if it shows the DOB for Thomas or if it a notation by the person who sent me the copy..

Many Thanks,
Margaret.

I can only find the information you have but at the end of the line of his entry someone has wrote something but I can't make out what it says. I think it may be saying how old he is. Shera will probably be able to work it out. Sorry I can't be of more help:(

hi margaret, yes there is something after the entry and i have magnified it. i think it says 1/2 yr old. so dont know whether that means a half year old or 1 - 2 year old. i would guess it was half year old but cant be sure!

Hi Shera - I thought it might say 1/2 and old but I wasn't sure - I was hoping you may have seen something similar before.:)

ive not seen that before, sometimes a date of birth but not half year old, but thats what it looks like!

Thank you all for looking....I am pleased to have found something interesting for you !!!! Thanks again for your help.
