Baptism, Marriage & Burial

I wonder if someone could possible add any information to the unusual chain of events below?

Thomas Clarke & Elizabeth Dodd married St Martin 19 Sep 1774 – Elizabeth Clarke burial St Martin 9 March 1781.

Elizabeth Clarke Baptism 9 March 1781 St Martin Burial 7 May 1781.

It is possible that Thomas & Elizabeth had two other daughters baptised St Philips, Ann 1776 & Mary 1778.
Thanks

Colin

Hi Colin - I have had a look at St Martins: Thomas Clarke and Elisabeth Dodd 19th Sept 1774 by Banns. Both of this parish. witnesses ? Mantell/Martell and Phebe Sanders. Thomas has signed with his name. Elisabeth has signed with an X mark.

The baptism is 9th March 1781 Elizabeth daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Clarke.

At the moment I am unable to find any burials for 1781 - hopefully shera will also have a look to see if I am missing something!

I have found this on other research - the burial and baptism of mother and child on the same day -possibly the mothers death caused by childbirth. Sadly in this case it seems the child also died two months later.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
