Im looking for information on a Ernest Joseph Banks he was a mechanical engineer and had his own business, I believe when younger he lived in a place called Jamaica Row Birmingham.
He married my relative a Lily Fancote they went on to have 3 boys and 1 girl.

I can't see a Baptism for him but the two refs above from FreeBMD should enable you to send for the certificates

In the 1901 census he seems to be living with his parents at Glynne Wynne, Penns Lane , sutton coldfield ( On the census it is next to no 60 Penns Lane):

In 1921 there is no mention of Ernest Joseph, but the Navigation St site appears to be Birmingham Garages

Thanks for all the information I know he died 1915 while still living still at 26 Spring Road Edgbaston. they seemed to be a well off family

Yes - he seems to have left over £12000, a considerable sum in 1915 and whilst still young

his wifes family had alot of heartache, I know they had children, I wonder if I could find out if there are any still around I know it would be there grandchildren, Ive tried Genes but no luck.
