Cannot find them in the 1939 register, but 1945-7 at least they were at the Baltic Inn 276 Sherlock Street.

Thank you mikejee. I remember my Nan talking about "the baltic" now. Was I wrong about the Clements Arms? That could possibly have been much earlier.

I can find no mention, but do not have all years Kellys, so cannot defmitely say they were not there

The 1886 map has a lamp post on the corner by the church, so would suggest that the second photo is the earliest

and the trees have grown taller also the road is used more, it seems, due to the road used by motor cars and horses.
