Sad news
B J Bannings Lichfield Road Aston called it a day last month and closes after 85 years trading in the area.
I worked for them for 30 + years and will miss them very much as will their loyal and many customers.

I worked for them for about ten years on and off. I knew BJ very well. A great man. Loved my time there. So sad it's gone it was a happy part of my life
 
That’s a shame, they had been there ever since I can remember. I recall the tyre hoist
