hi lyn blimey good question..im going back.nearly fifty years .for some reason john bright street came to mind but im not sure...(senile dementia setting in lol)...yes it was definately john bright street i just looked it up lol

Is that the junction with Severn Street then - the roof with two huge vents visible over the "Kendal" advert being that of Matthew Boulton College?

Yes it was John Bright St, and it must have been the building marked gymnasium on the map . It certainly is in the right position and there can't be two of them
