Aston Villa supporters.

G G Jean

Brummy Wench.
Found these photo's in the draw this morning. It was when Aston Villa won the coca cola cup in 1994. Steve one of my sons looked after it when he worked at Sutton Town Hall. He even spent the night there. The one in the cup is my grandaughter. The other is Anthony with a wig I made for him. Notice the picture in the background. A limited edition signed by the players of the day. Brian Little etc. TTFN. GGJ.

Beautiful photos, Beautiful grandaughter & The Guys ain,t bad looking too ,,
prooving Only the beautiful people support Our Team,,,
Nice 1 Jean,,, cheers to you, your lovely folks & The Villa,,,,, JohnY

John. You wouldn't think the one in the middle my grandson Anthony is one off a black belt karate. All he does is plays his guitar and trains three times a week. He's not interested in going off with kids smoking and drinking. Thank goodness. GGJ.

Yep Jean ,, all us guys were just like Anthony at that sweet age,,
Then we got ,,,aaargh! Girlied,, lol hope he keeps up the Karate & Music tho,
ps Have to admit a Lovely Bluenose captured me (willingly ) so now you know how i
turned into the fruit & nutcase i am now Lol,, JohnY

Great piccies, Jean.

Trying to arrange another visit to the Villa dressing rooms to update my avatar before August.

Anyone know how much this years season tickets will be?. We are thinking about it again. [Not Pete]. The lads and myself. Pete just drops me off at the Yew Tree and goes home and does his chores like men should do. Role reversal once a week. GGJ.

Chears Ray. We all gave our seats up because of various reasons. But now circumstances have changed we are seriously contemplating it. Even the little one Anthony in the middle had one and Jess used to go to the reserve matches with her dad. Steve was lucky [the mad one on the left] he was management at Carlsberg and spent many a day in their box. ttfn. Jean. All that food and drink.

just some of my VILLA memories, the only regret is having turned down a 1957 cup ticket to watch it on TV , then go all the way to the OLD WMBLEY for the last FA CUP FINAL to see us lose to CHELSEA.

Shame Baron. Which year was it as I know my twins went and there was a birthday card for them on the supporters club coach. Is there anyone else out there with grandchildren in their Villa gear. Feel free. Jean.

I have this receipt for a 1889 season ticket for West Bromwich Albion, the price was 10/6, or fifty two and a half new pence. I found this in the debris of an insurance office when it was being demolished in the late 60s, i have had this clarified by letter from the Baggies historian, Tony Matthews.

I also have a piece of the Holte end, you've given me an idea Jean, I'm gonna see if I can have it made into some sort of plaque. Any ideas?

Tony sorry I missed that season ticket. That was an awful lot of money in those days. Is it of any value do you know?. Ed Doolan has an expert on his show radio WM that has changed to 12 to 200 mid week anything to do with sport memorabelia. Jean.

On Saturday night, my son-in-law was proudly showing me his phone pics taken at the Holte pub that day. One of him with Randy Lerner and another of him hugging Nigel Kennedy.

Almost disowned my daughter when she married him! lol

I have a photo of [sorry don't know her name] the funny lady in Father Ted. Can't find it at the moment. Carry on looking. Nice one Icarus. Jean.

Hi Jean,
dont know how much the reciept is worth but the Albion tried to beg it for their museum (must be joking) but i was offered £25 for it in the 80s, may put it on e-bay and see how it does.

Chucka

Hi Jean,
his name is Joe, he is 10 months now, love him to bits, there is a seat next to mine at villapark just waiting for him to get a little older, ha ha

Chucka

Chucka Joe is the apple of your eye I can see that. Anthony in an earlier thread had a season ticket but is no longer a football fan. He's now karate and guitar mad. When we were at the match and Milosovich had just joined he couldn't pronounce his name [as I probably can't spell it] so he used to call him lots and lots of fish. Well we knew who he was on about. Jean.

Thought this was a nice pic took in 50s i think.
