No, that was Mrs Harrison’s shop. Ours was painted red I think and was on the corner across the road from the school.

I remember Mrs Harrison's as we lived almost opposite. I don't remember going to yours though.

Yes, I knew it had been but I only saw the photo a short while ago and it did upset me. I believe the flats built there have also been demolished.

I think this aerial view from 1952 shows Aston Hall Road School, please correct me if I am wrong.

I went there 1967 - 1972 when it closed down. I'd love to see some old photos of my old school. My Class was the last to leave there and head for secondary school. It remained standing empty for a short while before they finally knocked it down in very late 1972 or early 1973.

I left in 1972 also and went on to secondary school.

Our House No 11 opposite Perry's shop the Browns
