Yes , we had triangle rooms on the corner. The ally led to the backs of numbers 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 Hubert St with the outside shared toilets. We were lucky we had our own.
I have recently come across an Francis Barnet 150cc bought from Aston Autos in 1960 by Wallace Atkins in Bolehall and then by Donald Charles James from 14 Stretton Road, Aston B'ham 6 in June 1970. It was MOT'd by Aston Autos by Ron Tims who was a mechanic there but also rode for Cradley Speedway. The bike is for sale so any family please reply if interested
