I wonder if anyone could please look up birth details for Sarah Elizabeth Ashwin born in March quarter 1862, Solihull. There is also a death for same name March 1862, and I would like to know if this is the same little girl, if possible.

It would seem most likely, the only way to be certain would be to obtain both certificates and see who registered the birth and death.

The birth details are
Sarah Elizabeth Ashwin baptised 22nd February 1862,Yardley,Worcs.
This would be in registration district Solihull.

Alberta, thanks so much for confirming the parents for me!!.
Martin and Emma are definitely mine - They came to NZ in 1863, but this wee girl wasnt with them, so assume the death in 1862 is baby Sarah.
