George Ashby married Cicily Clegg in Aston Jun 1922.

does anyone have these names in their tree?
 
Not in my family Rowan but a bit of info for you.

Only child I could find of the marriage James George Hartill 1920.
called I would have thought after Georges father.

James married Martha Lodge in 1885 he died in March 1900 age 38

George Clegg married Mary Ann Stafford in 1889 so they possibly lived together before this and had children.
George is a lodger in Stafford, unmarried in 1881 a stoker.

I have only just seen your answer to my question re the cleggs of nechells, I am so very sorry I didn't see it before. Due to family troubles & illnesses I haven't been on the site for sometime so I have only just caught up with your reply.
Thank you again for taking the trouble to reply to me. These people were my family but sadly I never met them & I would have loved to have.
