A nice little snippet of Edwardian house history. This article in the Building News publication of 1907 announces the building of a pair of houses in Arthur Road, complete with room plans etc. These are the only two houses like this in the road, so the builder must have acquired this small plot of land and built only the two houses, squeezed in between the row of Victorian houses.
