Arthur Price Jnr Hockley Hill

Jayell

master brummie
I was sorting out my garden shed this afternoon and came across my Dad's old fishing tackle box. He was a very keen fisherman and went regularly with his friend Dick Pearse who had the newsagents shop on the corner of Soho Road/Villa Road. He seems to have bought quite a few items from Arthur Price Jnr in Hockley Hill as well as other items from a fishing tackle shop in the Market Hall. The packets below would have been bought in the 1940s/early 50s as that's when we lived up the road in Soho Avenue, just off Soho Hill. Judy
