Anyone know what local papers were around Birmingham between 1900 and 1930 and if one can access their archives to look things up?

Birmingham central library has a comprehensive selection of newspapers on microfiche

Birmingham Gazztte was one I hadnt hears of till recently, I think it became the Despatch.

The Gazette was a morning paper in competition with the Birmingham Post. The Despatch was an evening paper in competition with the Birmingham Mail. The Post and Mail won.
