Anonymous tests on BHF website

I keep getting tests for dementia and IQ popping up when I get onto the site which are from uncertain sources . Also Instructions to ‘proceed now’ and press ‘Open’ buttons. I find it a bit disconcerting.

I get them as well since I don't use an adblocker. I just ignore them

It is best ALWAYS to ignore any invitation like this. To my mind ANY advert on the internet should be treated at least with extreme caution, and preferably ignored completely.

hi tinpot i understand your feelings but ive seen that one pop up on other things such as when i am reading news items and of course the temptation for many could be to click on the test to see how we do but like janice and mike i just ignore them its just a load of old rubbish

There is also the point that all these types of adverts do not actually give you any result unless tou send them your contact details, so that they can bombard you with loads of rubbish, and probably sell details on to others
