Can anyone tell me if a marriage certificate dating from 1866 would have noted the condition of the bride's and groom's fathers, that is if they were living or dead. John James Allen's father was supposed to have been dead by this date according to the 1861 census but that is not shown on John James' marriage certificate. Any help most welcome.

Surnames of interest : Pickering, Hidson, Allen and Price.
