Hi All :) could anyone point me in the right direction..I am trying to find out what happened to the graves at All Saints Church Hockley I went to the school (now something to do with young offenders) a few months ago and no one could help don't know where to start looking
Thanks Maggie

All Saints Hockely
Opened in 1803, on land given by Sir Thomas Gooch. The churchyard was closed, and laid out by the Overseers in 1891. Burials were continued in existing family grave until 1905. The churchyard was transferred to the Parks Committee in 1927.
I would suggest to get in touch with Birmingham Council Parks department they may be able to help

Thanks John :)will get in touch with them
P.S could you I.M me with where your Fox's came from
Thanks again :) Maggie

Hi Maggie

Did you ever find out anything more about the graves at All Saints Church, Hockley? It is possible I have ancestors buried there.

I would like to know more about the church generally as well, as my gt.grandparents married there is 1861. Are there any photos available anywhere?

Judy

Thank you Bo. I didn't realise it was on that site. It is good to see a photo of the church as I have never seen it before. I must have a good browse of the site later on :)
