Alfred Cooper was at 18 Aston Street from at least the 1850s, moving to new premises on Corporation Street in the late 1890s. The Corporation Street premises (#262 and #264) are marked on the map (red dot). Screenshot_20260308_204640_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20260311_061454_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20260311_061208_Chrome.jpg

Interesting to see these newspaper ads documenting the construction of new shop premises as part of the later stages of the Corporation Street development project in the 1890s.
