Alcott Hall, Marston Green.

The first mention of Alcott Hall Farm I can find is in October 1829.

Mr. George Green, (not Charles) George was also a professional aeronaut, sometimes confused with Charles).

I was born and grew up right by Alcott hall. A lovely building and hard to imagine it before the council estate was built being sat alone surrounded only by fields and trees. Growing up there was a story of an underground tunnel leading from here to Sheldon hall. This must be a mile away as the crow flies so I find it hard to believe.. but it was quite the story and always wondered where it came from.
