a cracking picture , and it was a cracking pub
always packed out good bevvys at all times even at the evening times when the surrounding factory,s was closed
i drank in there many times with alot of friends
and with lads whom came down and around on the no ,8 .
circle bus from lady wood to drink in there
i was always in there with the lanfords. ronnie, david
and fanny , those were the days never no trouble
not like tony.s from the sportsman, whom came from the three a,s and eventual went to the pelham with more trouble
on his hands , all with my ticket holders [ people i barred ]

i remember tony still to be seen at the bookies on the pelham.

hi Astonian no i dont think Tony works now i see him on the Pelham most times i,m up there.As far as i know Craig still owns the Brookhill and he put a manger in there.i dont know who he is Best Wishes
