An interesting question. The construction of the 'Sentinels': Clydesdale and Cleveland towers, on Holloway Head wasn't underway until 1971. So Stirrling Moss can't have been watching them under construction. Perhaps they were looking across at the demolition of whatever existed before or the creation of the new road system ? Stirling Moss would most likely have been interested in that !
