80th anniversary of VE Day 2025

I heard on BBC Midlands News the other evening, that they along with the National Memorial Arboretum, are appealing for items relating to VE Day to be submitted from members of the public (see link below).

There will be an exhibition at the arboretum in Alrewas, which is due to run from 3rd May until 16th November. It will feature letters sent from the front lines and the home front.

The Arboretum is always worth a visit (particularly when the weather is good) and a few of us, may well have some items that could well be of interest to visitors over the coming months too, I'm certainly planning another visit there myself.
