Can anyone tell me if there is an online search available for an obituary in any of the Birmingham Newspapers in April 1953? Looking for Jessie Crilley who died 22 April.
There are no online obituary services that i know of for the Birmingham Mail etc. Next time i am at the Birmingham Reference library in town i'll have a look at the papers on microfilm. Just too confirm, it's Jessie Crilley died on the 22 April 1953?
Thanks ever so much for this kind offer. I am trying to see if there was an obitury or an article in the Paper about Jessie Crilley (nee Reynolds). I have her death certificate and it said she died in hospital as a result of an accident. That aroused my curiosity!! She would have been 66, born 24 Nov 1887.
i have checked with Coroners Office and they advised me that there was no Post mortem. One of the causes of death was given as a fractured Coccix, it be she fell out of bed whilst in hospital??
Sorry I couldn't find anything in the Birmingham Mail under the death entries. No write ups either. The only other information that i have is that she was buried in Yardley cemetery on the 28/4/1953 registration number 27177, Con, E, common grave and she was aged 66.
