134 Edmund Street

Anthony Collins

proper brummie kid
This Grade11 listed Arts and Craft terracotta building was built in 1897 and designed the architects were Newton and Cheatle.
Having published two books on the Birmingham builders John Bowen & Sons, I am desperate to ascertain is they built 134 Edmund Street.
Any information with any links to Gibbs & Canning who may have supplied the terracotta or to any information on Newton & Cheatle would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Anthony
