Hi Lyn, just to let you know I called Perry Barr crem and they confirmed he had been cremated there on the 26/02/1962 after passing 2 days earlier. He’s scattered on the small lawn so we know where he is/was. Thanks for all your help x
Yeah that all sounds right. Starting to make those jigsaw pieces fit. I’ve just found his mother’s burial records for 26/12/1915. He was only ten when he lost her. I might go visit her grave with my mom.
I’m off tomorrow so will give them a try and yes I’ll let you know. His past has baffled my mom & I, I wasn’t born and mom was 21 when he passed so she doesn’t have much memory and bizarrely she doesn’t have any personal belongings or many photos of him. We just don’t know a lot about him. ☹️
HI, I'm doing some family tree work and starting to look at my grandfather Reginald William Pursall, born in 1905 in Birmingham and died in 1962. I can't find much about him or where he was buried or cremated. Any help gratefully received.
Hi, does anyone have remember where the Columbia Pictures office was in Birmingham? My Mom worked there in the late 50’s and thinks it was Holloway Head.
Any help will be appreciated.
