    Irving Street

On the 1939 Register she is living with her widowed father at 91 Mary St. Elsie (dob 14 Nov 1895) never married and died in 1974.

Parents (Thomas & Ellen) are listed at that address on the 1920 ER and I assume Elsie was there also. 1921 census lists all 3 there.

Looking for: Descendants of Florence Jenkins

I hadn't seen the census scan but that makes sense. Thanks. Until proven otherwise I'd assume that they were Albert's. The joys of genealogy.

Not sure what that implies. Does that mean that Edward and Walter were sons of William rather than Albert and that Emma had left Albert before he died? If so why put year of 'marriage' as 1909 instead of 1905ish. And if they actually were Albert's why list 2 and 1 for children. If they...

A couple of things. I can't see a marriage for Emma and William. 1911 census gives a marriage date of 1909. Edward (1905) and Walter (1907) would appear to be the sons of Emma and Albert, both reg. as Jenkins/Webb.

It seems to be the Albert that died in 1907 in Handsworth. There are 4 Jenkins/Webb children reg. before Albert's death. Harold, as mentioned, Alice May, Edward and Walter Oswald. The 2 other boys died young as well but Alice May seems to have married a Charles Weaver. OP also posted a message...

Well done, that proves Albert died in 1908 Handsworth and not in Kent. So is the OP's interest this Albert or the one who died in Kent?

There's a death reg. for an Albert Edward Jenkins Mar 1908 West Brom. Age is 43 (birth Sep 1864), so a possible. Burial gives an address as 107 Birchfield Road.

That's the one. The children are Albert's and his first wife.

Not sure what happened to Florence's eldest brother (Albert William) but her other brother, Ernest, was possibly a butcher, married and had one daughter. If it's him, in 1939 he was living at 73 Green Oak Crescent and possibly died in 1962.

    MOSES IN BOLDMERE

The story is in various newspapers from the 16th June 1975. Found in a telephone box on the corner of Maxstoke Road and Jockey Road. He had ginger hair.

I think it's one of those classic cases of Anne (Evans) not really knowing where she was born and though to us Worcester isn't particularly close to Bham, to someone (possibly not very educated) in 1911 living in West Wales it probably was - surmising only. I think Janice has found the correct...

Definitely not the Florence in Wales, she was actually born in Worcester. I think she was the daughter of Ann Evans' son in law (William David Jenkins) from his first marriage, the other 3 children are her actual grandchildren from his second marriage to Ann's daughter.

Wyrion means grandchild/children. In 1901 they are all listed as Webb for some reason.

I would guess so, OP said that Albert was a saw sharpener.

Albert's first wife was an Emma Taylor, though on the baptisms of 2 sons before Florence she is listed as Emily (not unusual). Emma was born in Staffordshire and her death appears to have been reg. Jun qtr 1900 Aston. In 1891 Albert is listed as a Saw Maker.
