    Next we move to the Prince of Wales Pub in Long Acre last seen closed down - now in the process of been demolished- not sure on the Health and Safety aspect of this process - see the two men stood on the top of the roof.

    My information has this as the "Masons Pop building in Thimble Mill Lane", however a look at the Masons pop link on this forum and there is not a mention - is this correct or just an assumed link? EDIT: I was totally wrong - this from Stokkie Harry Mason (I can read his name on the picture)...

    if we now walk down the road behind us ( Newhall Hill) we have this view - still with Argent Centre at the top of the road . At the top of the road is a former church which is now a Sikh centre, the remained has all be redeveloped for apartments and offices.

    We are now on the corner of Legge Lane and Frederick Street this is the Argent Centre a wonderful red brick building with arched windows, metal frames and home to the pen trade in Birmingham, it is also home to the pen Museum

    we now look across the road at a few building that seem rather sad, Barrowclift has the windows boarded up and the building to the right has the top floor windows bricked up and the there doesn't seem to be much happening. EDIT: From mikejee Barrowclift spinning was 25 Legge Lane

    We now move across to the Jewellery Quarter and Legge Lane - these are a selection of old buildings but I am not sure which are left these days. Nice three storey building with ornate frontage to the top , further along are more old style industrial building all with some age.

    This is an interesting sign - showing the site where Arthur Conan Doyle lived , I cannot add to this as my noted read - old sign Aston Road North, but I suppose its good that it was still there, although a hunt on Street view and I could not see it. EDIT: See the post from Brummy Lad #2,157.

    Next we move to Thimble Mill Lane and Long Acre, this is the Prince Of Wales , not long closed but now boarded up and the windows broken , we can still see the name and M & B so you can tell it was a Pub with the Cast street name high on the wall.
