    28. 2CV Centre Apr 1987 This was in Chadwick End on the way to Warwick, and was where I sat in my first Citroen 2CV6 (that green one). The shop later moved to South Birmingham and I subsequently bought my own 2CV6, a red one, which we had for around six years until we traded it for a Vauxhall Nova.

    24. Old Farm 1970s This was somewhere around Tanworth-in-Arden, where the original Crossroads TV series was filmed. We drove there in a rented Nissan Micra and we marvelled at the technology of how its parcel shelf was raised and lowered by two pieces of knotted string through holes in the corners.
