    Visited the exhibition yesterday. It was wonderful to see the collection back home. I was a regular visitor and have really missed the Art gallery. It used to be free entry but is now £11 with no senior concessions but was worth it, especially if it stops any of the collection being sold off to...

    I was brought up in my Nan's house. We had a copper in the scullery and a mangle in what we called the lobby an outside area which led to the toilet and back door. I too helped Nan feed the washing through a very scary job! I also remember the blue bag in the wash and the big wooden tongs...

    Hi Shaun There was a very interesting article in yesterday's Guardian newspaper about a woman who helps families locate the graves of stillborn babies. Her name is Gina Jacobs. She managed to locate her son's grave after 53 years. The article makes very interesting reading. Carolann
