    Hoping you lovely people may be able to help once again. I have now have a burial for Frederick Smith who passed away Jan/Feb 1914. the burial took place 5th February 1914 at St Peters & St Pauls. Curate Richard Baker. Can anyone advise please how I find his Burial plot.

    A big thank you to everyone that helped me with the Smith family tree yesterday, without you all I would still be searching for the correct census returns. As you can imagine I looked at many census but as the husband's names were different instantly dismissed them. Another lesson learned!!

    On the marriage certificate for both Frederick it shows father's name as William. I wonder if the father's name was Henry William? It's a mystery. Thank you for your help.

    Yes that's what I thought. He must of died between 1883 when his daughter was born and 1891.

    Hi Lyn, Fredericks parents were William Smith and Matilda but on the 1891 and 1901 census it shows Matilda married and as head of the family. I haven't been able to locate a Marriage for William and Matilda therefore have now maiden name.

    Further to my previous post regarding Stoneleigh villa's. I am looking for information on a baptism of a Frederick Smith who was born in 1876 and resided in Church lane Aston in 1891. I cannot find the 1881 census for the Smith family. Can anyone help please.

    PjmBurns Thank you. The Smith family had moved out by 1911. Mr Smith was widowed, he and 3 of his children went to reside with friends.

    Our ancestor lived in number 3 Stoneleigh Villa's in 1908. Interesting that there was only 14 houses.
