    Strange thing about 'equality' a few years ago on an afternoon out in Bristol I saw a notice board outside a jobs agency, "Wanted office clerks £6.00 per hour', further down the board 'Wanted HGV drivers £4.50 per hour.' how could that be a true reflection of equality?

    Most of the roads around there were named after London boroughs, I was born and brought up in Hurlingham, we had Sidcup, Crayford, Cranbourne, Harringay etc etc. all round us, the ones with local names were from former farms such as Warren Farm and Brooklyn Farm

    One of our mechanics had a mate who worked there, he took a prop shaft in for repair and they played a joke on him, half filled it with paint, damn near shook the car to pieces when he fitted it.

    I have a Renault Zoe, electric so.............for the moment no road tax. (Can't last forever) I too have to 'tax' it every year I assume just to keep tracks of the ownership.

    Yes you're possibly correct, my cousin now in her grave did a lot of the Coughlin history that's probably where the photo came from. I suppose I might take up Ancestry's latest offer and have another go at the tree.

    In my filing cabinet I have all of mine from 1954 to date, a plain cardboard army one through the reds and beiges to the paper and plastic ones.

    We had a cigarette machine at our shop but it didn't sell many cigarettes, the pub opposite had one too, someone stole it. :oops:

    I've never had a problem with Windows since I bought my first computer for my business from Dixons back in around 1984, never bothered with all the other nerdy set ups.
