Christmas Traditions – What Were Yours Growing Up?

Well I made a couple of Christmas puddings for the kids following a recipe form Mrs Beetons book of home management. Interestingly, no sugar in the recipe and it uses breadcrumbs not flour. Steamed for 5 hours it is amazingly tasty and hopefully will improved by Chrismas .

I recall there were problems when jacking up the Allegro. I did see a sign in one garage insisting that it had to be jacked dup with the customer own jack. Another story was that if jacked up with the doors open, they would not shut properly again. Most certainly some of the earlier models did...

    Is This Your Motor?

A friend had one where we managed to squeeze 6 of us into it once for a laff. It was a bit of devilment after seeing an advert on TV advising people not to overcrowd their car. Its a wonder we did not get stopped

The roof construction of the ‘flight shed’ sounds like it was patent ‘Lamella’ roof, quite often seen in the construction of aircraft hangers. They were a good way of erecting a cost effective structure that covered a wide open space.

BSA Norton Triumph Ariel and miscellaneous motorbikes and trikes

Richard, In common with most of these industry things, there is never a one-size-fits-all answer. However, there are always a few common points: a lack of investment leading to a lack of development, and most certainly a business model based on its previous reputation, customer brand loyalty...

BSA Norton Triumph Ariel and miscellaneous motorbikes and trikes

I have had a couple of Triumph Tiger Cubs, as a did a couple of my friends. I thought they were a super and great looking bike that sounded super and were nice to drive. One thing I noticed with them was there was very little in the way of change or improvement between the 1952 and the 1969...
