    Went to school on the Number 11 bus . I think that more than any other followed by the Numbers 15 / 16 / and 53 . Remember running after the 15 and 16 trying to jump on the platform of the rear of the bus before the one man operated ones came on the scene. No sense of fear back then. The Number...

    Knew a gentleman that loved the beer festivals and frequented lots of them with like minded mates. Sadly no longer with us. Yes the strikes back in the 70s. Drank only a few shorts back then but not too many more expensive.

    Got my school rucksack together with my mates from Oswald Baileys in town by St Phillips Church. Also there was an Army and Navy stores in Hay Mills. They were okay but sometimes your books fell out but they were the in thing at the time and you just threw them down when you had finished.
