    Hi Lyn, when I started in 1969 that size crate carried 24 pint bottles and they were heavy, and the crates were stacked high to give the men a bit of room to work on the wagon, wouldn't dream of driving with them that high.We had a few pubs with that sort of wall facia, couldn't narrow it down.

    Yes I remember Pete and Albert, Aldridge Depot and Gravelly Park, been a long time. Tell Pete I still see Danny Baker, Pat Parnell, and Bruno, my brother Terry is still at work but not at the brewery.

    This is Davenports brewery on Bath row, almost by the top of Piggot street. I remember having roller skates for xmas one year and Davenports was the only flat place for miles, we used to play on the front for hours.

    Hi, we lived at the back of 21 so 44 would be further down the road on the other side, my friends in piggot st was Michael Garrett at number 19 and Roysten Rolls who lived near the top. I think I remember a family called Tosh and Pratt up Owen street.
