    i agree with what you have said sue, i dont have worldwide membership for ancestry but do have premium membership so can access most things. i think there are much more parish records on ancestry, and more seem to be adding every month. searching for bmd`s is about the same on either site...

    hi diana, the records are from the original records from st. martins church so they are definitely correct. the family appear on the 1841 cnesus living cheapside but this was before robert was born.

    on the electoral rolls i cant find them after 1945. when george is listed with ellen at new canal st up to 1945 he is recorded as george a. higgins. well there is a death of a george a higgins in 1946 birmingham - born abt. 1872 so maybe thats him?
