    So Eleuterio who moved to America, his great grand daughter Katelyn, she is looking for a photo for me of Eleuterios son Michael who would be her grandad. Im on the look out now for photos, while I wait for the map from st Josephs.

    I did not realise there was a Handsworth cemetery. thanks for that, ill send them an email. Infact im sure as its a Birmingham city council one she isn't there, because I got the council to search there whole system as she never came up. :)

    I remember Naomi from st chads saying they do not have a copy of the map. so there's one family member who is not at st Josephs which is Maria, I received her death certificate and it says in the district of Handsworth, and that's where she lived. Any idea of anymore catholic churches with...

    I was back at st Josephs today but the guy who took my details is on holiday for another week. We had a more in-depth look round the churchyard, but its a needle in a haystack. So I have to wait, although im so impatient, do you think there's anywhere else I can access the map?

    Yes an A. Iommi. So that would either be my grandad Anthony or his brother Albert. Both passed.

    Yes I guess that's how the Italian genes have got weaker. My dad is half Italian and looks it. On my ancestry DNA im 28% . My grandad spoke fluent Italian, but my dad and all his sisters didn't, but then my grandad and his brother married English women. I got my great grandmothers death...

    Yes today 9:45am. :) we shall go once a month now. The priest was very nice. He danced at the end with a drum which was entertaining lol.

    So we got there early this morning and a mass was about to start, they really wanted us to attend, so we did. It was an experience as I haven’t been to a catholic mass for quite some time. Afterwards, I said we need the map, and afew people asked around thinking they could just bring me a copy...

    Thankyou, that's kind. :) I wish I could somehow sort the section in there that is left as they rely on volunteers, but it would need a lot of people and time.

    Ahhh thanks for that I didn't realise the numbers would be on the back. Will help definitely with counting as im not hopeful they have a headstone but could be wrong.

    Ah right that sounds correct as we spoke to the priest and he said he serves two churches. We will go anyway and have a look.
