Have checked 1911 and 1921 census for him at Bakery Buildings but no William Wall (Whalton). Many of the names on 1911 still living at the address in 1921.

Janice that looks right Bakery Buildings. It was May 1915 when William was discharged (wounds) so that was most likely his address at that time, and he is a married man now (single 1911 census). Peter

I did see the1939 register Janice but was not sure right William, although if the 1935eroll has him down under the name William Howard could be the right William. Lyn do not known exact birth details or if married. Peter
