    Well I made a couple of Christmas puddings for the kids following a recipe form Mrs Beetons book of home management. Interestingly, no sugar in the recipe and it uses breadcrumbs not flour. Steamed for 5 hours it is amazingly tasty and hopefully will improved by Chrismas .

    The roof construction of the ‘flight shed’ sounds like it was patent ‘Lamella’ roof, quite often seen in the construction of aircraft hangers. They were a good way of erecting a cost effective structure that covered a wide open space.
