    After showing a family member this pic tonight he wondered if it was taken looking towards Cambridge St? And if so, would it show the back of the house of 83? Next to the Prince of Wales public house?

    The old buildings look great with their chimneys etc. And the cobbled foot paths. I don't know if it's me, but the old pics look so full of character and history, amazing.

    Great info Janice and Mikejee. Thanks for the pic, it is great to see these old pictures even if they don't relate to my family history, but it's quite magical looking at the photo and thinking that the Strawbridge's would have been on these streets! Unreal!

    Hi Pedrocut Thanks for the newspaper clipping. How fab that you have managed to find that. It freaked me out a bit until I read it twice, I thought it said a 'fawn coloured pug' to begin with! There are two fawn coloured pugs in the family and I have one of them!!!!!
