Finally got to take a few photos of Dudley Rd (aka City) Hospital yesterday. All from outside and taken over the tops of fences I'm afraid as my days of climbing into fenced off sites are long gone..... Bulldozers were already ripping the end off A&E so if you want a last look go sooner rather...

For info - it was still there yesterday.....

Lovely repro poster now installed at the bottom of the ramp at Sutton Station:- Its a better depiction of the park than this 1928 LMS poster which puts the park somewhere between Hogwarts and Toytown.......

Got some photos of the new HS2 viaduct from the train earlier on today - this one IS a big bugger......

I don't know but the B&W's were taken around 45 years ago - have you only just missed it? ;)

Four Oaks Station early 1980s. Then it had extra DMU sidings, a lineside hut and a signal box - all now gone sadly......

Museum shop find - Ian Allan Midland Red ABC guide from 1962 - I liked this as its the same age as me (and in better condition....) - 2/6 in old money, or a quid when I bought it - contains nice Midland Red History, garage list, lots of photos and a lovely route map:- Please let me...

Latest news from Hockley Station is "not much" - site work seems to have stopped apart from the 3 openings now been firmly boarded up (boo hoo hoo!!) - here is a panorama taken "over the fence" with my phone:-

Yes - lots and lots of them - top, bottom and at the side. Also - if you go to the "privacy and cookie settings" tab and turn them off, it totally ignores what you have entered and just carries on regardless.

This one does not look like a Birmingham tram as it has a destination box on the front which is quite square off upstairs. Could be wrong though?

Bet most of new houses will be retirement homes - that is the only thing built up here in Sutton Coldfield these days. One just opened on the old cinema carpark, and a huge one under construction on Coleshill Rd. One recently finished on the main road between Wylde Green and Sutton. In relation...
