Family links as in relatives or family links as in ancestors? Elsie Rebecca, daughter of John Henry Mouzer and Maud Woodcock? Moved to Essex?

I couldn't either, though I thought they married after Eleuterio was in US. There are a few missing marriages and I suspect that some of the Iommi's went back to Italy to marry.

So he married Rosa before he emigrated to the US. Not sure exactly when but he was dead by 1920.

We can only assume so, though it seems unlikely that he was Felice's cousin with a nearly 50 year gap. The relationship may be a little more complicated, a cousin to his children maybe? Which could possibly mean he was a cousin once removed from both his wife and Felice but in different directions.

It would only list the fathers.

Great, that would certainly suggest that Eleuterio was the son of Felice and Angelina, and the brother of Giuseppe and Giovanni.

Ok, not sure she'd have a reason to lie but without seeing it for myself or finding something to corroborate it there would always be a doubt A much cheaper option would be to purchase the possible marriage certificate for them in Bham 1900, though would you learn as much from it.

I think you have listed a Giuseppe as Felice's father. Is that something you know or just a supposition?

    Iommi family

No, I think they are cousins as it says on the 1911 census. It was Nicola and Peter Iommi that I thought were brothers, both sons of Gaetano, though I'm not so sure now because I think Gaetano's son of that name may have died young. Giuseppe, the artist's model, would appear to be the son of an...

I can't see it not being them but definitely, to see his father. I suspect it will be Giovanni. There are 2 other Iommi marriages that would be interesting also - Eleuterio, Jun 1904 Bham and Frank, Mar 1915 Bham, again to see their fathers. There is a birth listed for a Gaetano Tommi in Arce...

Thanks, I think I was confusing which death was registered by the 'niece' but the death being Giuseppe's then as you say it fits. And if we take the relationship as true then that would suggest again that Giuseppe and N Musticone's mother - Maria, nee Iommi - were siblings, though I can't be sure.

Yes, that's her. Her marriage was before Felice's death, so she would have been a Secondini by then but I can't see any other N Musticone it could be.

A few later a probable nephew of Ferdinando married Loreda/Nellie Musticone, who was a relative of Felice and possibly the 'niece' that registered Felice's death.

There appears to be an interesting story in the newspapers about a Marie Iommi (Suzie's aunt?) and a stolen yacht in 1954.

    Iommi family

There is one more Iommi who lived in Bham but doesn't appear on the censuses, an Eleuterio Iommi who married an Eleonora Nardone in 1904. Sadly she died in 1905 and he emigrated to Philadelphia in 1907. He appears to have re-married a Rosa Cerrone. They had at least 2 children - Eleonora in...

You've omitted a couple that you had on your other list. There is no birth reg. for Adolfo and there doesn't seem to be enough gap between the births of Luigiuccia and Peter for him. It seems likely that all the Iommi's (various spellings) on the 1911 census are related. Peter Jommi, listed...

Sadly brick walls are inevitable. In regards your list of the children of Frank Iommi and Maria Musticone - post #119. It seems improbable that Adolfo was their son. His dob was 7 Jul 1924 whilst Luigiuccia/Laura's was 12 Oct 1923 and Peter's was 22 Dec 1924. Unless I'm missing something.

Frank Musticone was born in Brazil married a girl from Wolverhampton. Frank Iommi married his sister, Maria Louisa Musticone, who was also born in Brazil. According to the 1921 census.

Just a personal opinion but I wouldn't waste my money on a historian to find the burials. If the burials were Catholic then the records will still be closed and despite what your email from Midland Ancestors said I'd say that there is only an outside chance that they weren't buried in Bham...

Their mother was the Maria Iommi mentioned previously, the daughter (most likely) or sister of Felice.
