    There's also a William Maddox Beer Retailer at 183 Icknield Port Road, in the 1930 Kelly's BUT my thoughts were that the photo is more in the 1914-18 era

    Robert Frost on 'Old Pics of Brum' wrote "Here's a picture of my Great Grandfather James Ashton. Does anybody know where and when this was taken? " There's a clue behind the tram looks like William Maddox was the licensee of the pub/outdoor. Can anybody here help him?
