    Bought an Amstrad THING around mid 80's from PC World for daughter but tried setting it up and couldn't get anything to work so took it back...surprisingly they did...lol think it was either 299 or 399 pounds. Next time was a Windows 1998 with dial up....had got a teen son by then so he got it...

    Always been told that they off loaded 2/3 bombs into Upper Bittell Reservoir as they returned home and when it was drained some years ago you could see 3 distinct craters.....

    WELL.....when in doubt click owt......some reason I clicked Recycle bin....and theres all the folders(empty) and found my pics in a new one called Gallery....bit of progress...

    All very interesting..............I am at my wits end about this cancelling Windows lark. I know absolutely nothing about all this and couldnt even start to get this Linux even though it seems to be an altenative to actually buying another computer with Win 11.Had a look today and can get one...

    I have searched the forums and drew a blank......I am looking for any images for Victoria Terrace , Kent St North.I visited here around 1972 and think it would have been called something like a Courtyard.....houses all around a square with toilet blocks in the middle. Thanks.

    Cotteridge would be from the top of the " factory centre" Hill on Pershore Road then past all these shops down to Breedon Cross where the canal crosses.Then its Stirchley down what was Stirchley high St to the Dogpool.All very localised areas.
