    OXFORD ARMS, Greenway ST.

Next to the Oxford , in Greenway St was a Costermongers. Of the back houses behind that, I'm pretty sure the one nearest to Coventry Rd was 1/3 ( 1 Back of 3 ) so I would expect the Costers to be No. 3, and the Pub No.1

    Small Heath Park (Victoria Park)

Bottom end of Kingston Hill Park was along Watery Lane. front entrance was behind the Kingston Picture house. Not sure of the 'proper' name for it, but I think the top half had once been Small Heath Harriers training ground. There was what looked like a cinder running track.

    Double Zero Club

Used to go there now and again in about 69 / 70. There was another vicar as well as Dave the Vic, but cant remember his name. Surprised no one else has mentioned him. I saw him walking around Cape hill occasionally in the late 70s, so my guess is he had a parish around there somewhere.

    Comptometer operator

What ever a comp operator actually did, I can remember that in the Birmingham Mail, in the days when you could find pages and pages of job vacancies advertised. there were always at least a column or so vacancies for them. So they must have been in demand.
