I lived there for a couple of years Jim but its to much to reply on the Forum I'd be taking up too much space. I'll speak to you on Skype.
It was a school of Music while I was there but they had a terrorists bomb there two years after I left and Killed a good friend of mine he was a Brummie
I did Bernie I've just posted on the other tread that's running on the same subject, my Grandfather was a carter for the Birmingham Council ( Horse & Cart) they called the cart something like Tumble it had to large wheels only. He won two awards.:)
My Granddad who was a Driver for the Council got Two awards for accident free driving one for 2 years & Silver one for 5 years which I have in front of me . I will scan & post after lunch. No dates on them but might get the mark off the Silver medal.
He died in 1933
