    Its hard finding records for our family through the 1920's. They had 1st child in 1920....lost one in 1921.....another in 1923 and finally one in 1924 that died in 1927. The 1st child ended up with father (1939 register) and the last died at Western Road but home address was at Fatheres parents...

    We have wifes Mother born at 44 Dudley Road and at Library of Brum I had to see the workhouse infirmary records and her GMother entered day before and left after 10 days.....so it was just the hospital and not workhouse.....this was May 1923. Then we had the Death Cert of wifes Mothers youngest...

    Just re- looked at the 1911 census and it says 11 court - 1 house and looking at the map i see its court 11 so must be same house.....

    WOW...thanks for this.......amazing there was at least 2 adults and 6 children there at one stage......and hoping Wifes Mother could be found to have lived there as well in her infancy as she seems to have been abandoned for a period of time and then living with her Nan ( the head of this house)...

    Does anyone know what year the Map/Photo was in #14 please. Interested as had relatives in 1 back of 66 Cheapside around1920 with last record 1935. They were in 11 court 1 house before 1920. 1/66 looks like its in between Harrisons and The Star works.
