    When I was young in the 60’s and when Erdington station was a group of wooden buildings, they won best kept station of the year on several occasions and were runners up on other years. They hung all of the certificates on the ticket office wall on the Lichfield bound side of the station.

    The council did try putting a rule out to state that you needed permission from the relatives to take phots of grave marker in Birmingham. I raised the issue with some of the elected members who quickly quashed it.
